DOWNLOAD
MIRO FOR FREE
What
is Miro?
Miro
is an incredible video-sharing program created by a group of radical
computer geeks in Worcester, MA called Participatory
Culture. Their mission is to help media makers publish and share
video content more easily over the internet in a way that is free
and fair to artists and audiences alike.
What
happens when I download MIRO?
The
program is similar to iTunes, only you don't have to pay for anything.
You will have a new program on your computer that allows you to
subscribe to channels produced by mainstream and independent videomakers
around the world. You can read descriptions of each channel and
video before downloading. When you decide to download one or more
videos, you can let Miro do the work while you leave the computer
or work on other stuff. Miro will let you know when the video is
done downloading. You can then save videos in your movies library
or delete them when you're done. You can also use Miro to download
other videos from the internet.
I
want to be cool and cutting-edge. Will Miro help me to do this?
Yes.
